Title: GVP 7.6 IP change
Post by: CTIgem on December 10, 2009, 01:50:27 PM
After installation of GVP 7.6, we'd like to change ip address on the servers.
Can this be done without affecting anything on the working GVP 7.6?

Thanks.

um.. if i remeber thsi well, on the wirzard u enter ip adrresses in most cases,  that information is stored on SunOne Ldap, maybe if u change ur addresses ur solution doesnt work.

Hope this help.

Sun LDAP is only for big deployments, even in that way the server itself will not be affected, only minor configurations, so again, if he used FQDN then will be no problem.

Thanks, I'll try to stick with fqdn and change.
