Is there a good way to set up a statisitic to report on the number of internal conference, consults, and transfers? I was advised that I could use a relative mask of CallInternal with a main mask of CallConsult for example. As of yet I haven't been able to get this to work.

I think that yoyohhh has slightly missed the point of the question!
TotalNumberConsultCalls is a standard stat, so this would be a good starting point. However I am not sure that there are call types for conference and transfer, so counting these would require some lateral thinking.

Your main idea is right, create a new metric with the correct MainMask and you will need to create a stat to begin to collect this info. Remember that you may need to restart StatServer in order to make new metrics to be taken in account.
