Title: How SIP server can modify the call id?

Hello,

Does  Genesys SIP server  7.6 modify the call id?
Please describe some scenarios if possible.

Hi there!

I know only one posible scenarios for this - network transfer call from one site to another in multi-site solution.
But if it bring the error in your envrovment - you can try different type the ISCC routing type to avoide this situation. Also from statistic side you can configure your stat and icon server to  you original call id to call tracesing instead the changed one.

Your answer is excellent!  This is exactly what taking place with our SIP 7.6  environment after network transfer.
