sometimes medialink (5.1.6), with a certain number of documents in cache (4000 or more) blocks itself and we have to kill it via task manager. Does anyone has experienced the same problem.

We had a problem when MediaLink suddenly would just freeze and we would have to kill it; however, we never really figured what went wrong, and after some time, the problem just disappeared.

What does Genesys say?

This is a part if the IS Suite document about limitations on MediaLink, but for the version 6.x. But we have the 5.1.6.

With certain multiprocessor hardware platforms, MediaLink might crash under a heavy load

Your machine where you had this problem was a single or multiprocessor?

There was a significant memory leak in some of the early 5.1.6 versions of Internet Suite components. What version of MediaLink do you have? We are now running 5.1.6.45 and are not having any issues.
