Title: Problem with GPlus 7.6 for MS CRM 4.0

Hi All!

Try to install out test env. but stoped on this issue:
Not the Gplus WEB Application , not the GPLus config Application can not connect toconfig server. In Config Server logs we found next message:
09:46:50.556 Std 22122 Client 33244 failed to get authorization. Name [Gplus_Adapter_MsCrm], type [ThirdPartyApp], user [gplus_crm_user], address [10.60.x.x:51248]. Reason : Application type doesn't match
09:46:50.556 Std 23500 Configuration Server Error : Error  [CFGAppSecurityViolation], object [CfgApplication], property [DBID] Description Application type doesn't match

Gplus_Adapter_MsCrm - is a configured application object for GPlus Adapter
gplus_crm_user-  system user for G+


Try to seek on offsupport KB - and found nothing =( Any advice ?

Hi Timur,

There were (still are?) some issues related to application type required by Gplus. Please try to re-create Gplus application object in CME and change application type to "Third Party Server" instead of current "Third Party Application".

Think about it already...but how it possible if application type is set by application template ? Change throw DB edit ? Take the other template  - but from witch app?

Hi Timur,

You have two options

1/ Create a new template
2/ Create an application without using the template

I would recommend you to copy options from existing template in both cases as it will save you some time.

Rene? fanx for good point of view. i fixed this error (by manual edit of db  - it's looks for me as the easy way =) )
But now got the another error =(

When web-app  is start  -  it's show the next warning message
"aria.config.AgentState.SingleToolbarEnabled" is null or not an object. And after it - CRM is started with out GPlus toolbar. Look like this is unknow issues by new version (what only one is suppurted by windows server 2008 64-bit). Start the conversation with official support - but...have to little hope to fast answer =(

I've never seen this error before... Hopefully, Genesys Support will help you to fix the issue soon.

I think I may have a simular issue, the template from 7.6.1 shows Third Party Server however the Config Server logs (below) shows ThirdPartyApp.  What did you do to fix this?  I couldn't find the associated table in the DB to manually change it.

use app setup and template from lates version - 7.6.102.00
