Hi guyz,
What genesys sw (SIP or TDM) shold be used to work with this Genesys.Switch.Simulator ?
NEed to test outbound scenario
thanks
-
?? It has its own TServer and "PBX" which is an emulation of an Avaya, read the documentation for further details, obviously there will be no CPD and advanced features.
-
There is CPD simulation for Predictive call testing - you can specify what statistical spread of results you want - and how long each result should wait before returning (e.g. answering machine should be 22% of calls and take 3 seconds, No answer 34% of calls and takes 23 seconds etc.)
The simulator provides a simulated Avaya Definity - but not with Expert Agent Selection (EAS - Skills based) - so it simulates Login to Group rather than logins to multiple skills...

thanks u both. THANKS FOr THE PATIENTE really apreciate
additional question this simulator is supossed to work with tdm or sip geensys version?
SIP:
Genesys SIP vs Simulator
OR TDM
Genesys - Simulator
wichs genesys version should i install on the virtualmachine? Need to test outbound scenario.
thanks !

Simulator is here to simulate the tdm switch for th tserver, whereas the sip is software based technology. So we can say that sipserver is already soft switch so you do not need simulator.

Hi!
Can you anyone of you please tell me where to download the Genesys.Switch.Simulator ?
Regards

I think it is part of the SDK. It cannot be downloaded separately.

why not, we have an access to software download and simulator is presented on the separate section. the other trouble is that generic t-server works only on windows platform and its version very old (6.5). may be, sdk contains more fresh version...
