Post by: rapjaw08 on April 27, 2010, 06:07:26 PM
Hi,

Would like to understand on the user logs on the tserver. although not that quiet familiar yet on the Genesys platform. Is there any documents that could help me read the tserver logs specified on the user data log.

As those have a v in front I guess they are user variables not system variables, so check in your strategy or a softphone that feeds those values. TServer doesn't do such task directly.

upon dialing thoise digits it uses a gplus tool. Would it tell that is it something to do with genesys configuration and not on avaya switch issue.  Thanks again for your help.

rapjaw08,

Could you tell why you are posting the same message again???

We've discussed your issue 10 days ago and I explained you clearly that it is not Gplus issue. Your issue is, with very high probability, caused by IVR system as IVR is responsible for collecting the digits. My recommendation was to check call flow in TServer log but based on reply you don't have access to TServer log. Sorry, we are not magicians so not able to help you without seeing the log. You should talk to people responsible for the Genesys platform and ask them to fix the issue.

R.

PS. Have you posted you message to official Genesys Forum as well under the account "sherwinV"?

Hi,

Please post here debug TServer log covering full call flow and detailed description about your system (switch type, IVR type, IP/TDM? etc.)

R.

Hi ,

Here is the log which was handled to us. We have a ip-trunks for avaya and for the IVR type we are still awaiting for information.
T-server:  7.6.008.01
Gplus:  6.5.400.18

Also as i have read on the genesys deployment guide for avaya communication there is a setting which says

send-tcs-dtmf
default value is set to nerver
valid values
a. never ------Tserver does not send DTMF. IVR port should be used to answer TCS (Transfer Connect Signaling)
                      calls and outpulse DTMF
b. answer ---- Tserver automatically sends DTMF , the sames as For RouteTypeOverwriteDNIS

Changes take effect: Immediately
Specifies how Tserver sends DTMF

also would it be possible to send it through email the tserver logs am having difficulty attaching it.
thanks again for the assistance and appreciate your time.
