Title: Switchover

Hi There,

I have some queries please help me some one . ???

After switchover Primary T-server to Backup T-server, Agent Desktop got connection lost from Backup Tserver and all Agents are logged off. It displayed Error code 40. I have some queries regarding this.
1. Why Agent desktop got disconnected from Backup Tserver after switchover?
2. In Tserver deployment guide Error code 40 message is for “No more License” but we have enough Licenses still why we got these Error message?
3. Any resolution for this that it couldn’t happen again?
4. And also guide me the all possibility cases why T-server Primary get switchover to backup T-server?

Hello Basheer - that's a lot of questions!  ::)

1. Perhaps your softphone does not contain the details of both TServers?  Most contain an "HA" option, otherwise TServer HA pair work under aliases that a softphone can work with either, uninterrupted.
2. You need enough licenses for HA configuration - that usually means 2 x  licenses (don't blame me, I only advised you!  ::) )
3. You have given no indications of how the failover occured, so there is not much chance to answer this question.
4. There are thousands of reasons!  Think about; Application Connectivity (link status), Switch Connectivity (Link status), Hardware capacity (CPU/MEM errors), etc.

- without logs, there is not really much else that I can tell you...
