We are in the process of implementing Geneysys, and an issue which has arisen is the question of updating Infomart data, which we need to do in two circumstances:
1. We have a number of records dating from the beginning of implementation where data was incorrectly set up. An example would be product names set up incorrectly, where a single product has been named in two different ways until the problem was spotted.
2. On an ongoing basis, our retailers are allowed to challenge customer satisfaction scores. This could be as straightforward as correcting agent error - e.g. a 6 recorded instead of a 7 - but we do need the ability to amend small amounts of records on an ongoing basis.
We are very concerned about data integrity, and we must be able to demonstrate that any amendments as described above are traceable and auditable.
Does anyone else have experience of similar Infomart issues, and if so, how have you approached them?
