Hi,

In my application folder of message server I see a lot of .psq files generating. is it because of teh disconnect with the log db server ? or how to stop getting these files generated.

its killing my folder space a lot.

thanks

.qsp files are created when an application is configured to do network logging but the application cannot connect to MessageServer. So that the log information is not lost, a local qsp file is created.

Once connection between the application (e.g. StatServer) and MessageServer is resumed, the qsp files that this application instance has created will be removed and sent to MessageServer in the normal way.

As your files are in the Message Server it is probably a disconnect with the database.

When an application (e.g. StatServer) is restarted. It will not clear qsp files written by the previous instance.

You can stop the files being created by removing the word "network" from the log options, or you can check the message server and DAP config
