Is anyone out there using Cisco 796X phones with Genesys SIP server?
I changed out the firmware from the SCCP to SIP, but I’m having problems
getting the phone configured correctly. I think the frustration is starting to cloud
my vision! Could someone please their phone config if possible?!?!

What does the logs say?

There is no connection request. I don't think it's even getting to the server.

From genesys server can you ping your phone?

hi, if you changed the firmware correctly you should see a difference in the behaviour of the phone, also the strtup should be dieferent now.
you need th check the network settings first and than make some simple checks, for example using another softphone to call the cisco phone etc.
in sip server you only need to configure the DN (type: extension, apendix TServer => contact = number@ipadresse, ...)
