Title: MAPD to Avaya AES 5.2.2
Post by: RajD on September 21, 2010, 01:51:46 PM
Hi,

We are currently on Tserver 7.2 with MAPD. Switch is upgraded to CM 6.0 and the AES version that will be used is 5.2.2. Per Genesys, AES 5.2.1 is supported in TServer 8.0, but not 5.2.2.

What configuration/changes needed to be done on the genesys end to support this AES 5.2.x upgrade. Do we need Avaya TSAPI licenses ? Please advise.

Thanks

Hi,

AES 5.2.2 seems to be hotfix = minor release so I would say that you should have no troubles with T-Server connecting to this AES release. However, you're right that it was not tested by Genesys.

There is no configuration to make Genesys compatible with this AES release. The only option is to open Service Request with Genesys Support and ask them to test this AES release...

Thanks Rene.  Genesys support also mentioned that TServer 8.0 should work fine with 5.2.2. Still waiting for more information on TSAPI licenses from them.
