If my business was 85%+ Outbound Sales, how effective would Genesys be at delivering the services I need? Is Genesys predominantly an Inbound solution e.g. Customer Service work etc?

The Genesys outbound solution is one of the best available.
Their call progress detection leaves a little to be desired though IMHO.
