Title: problem with adding a media

Hi,
I have some problem when I try to add a media in Genesys Internet suite 5.1.6. Is there anyone who could send me , the files he made to add a media (the test of the fax for example?) and the paths he used to place those files? Or a good explaination?
Please help me.

Hi, Laurent,

we tried it last year too. First thing is that FAX example is impossible to follow (at least it did not make any sense to me)

I was able to create a little program called "MediaKiller" ( don't ask me why I called that!), and it would connect to MediaLink and register itself as such.

The problem I encountered was actually trying to connect to ContactServer. I could not even understand ActiveX example nor find the class they were talking about there.

So, the project just got stuck, because without a connection to Contact Server, there is no way to retrieve all the info unless I look directly in MediaLink database, and I figured that I should just wait for something better to come....

I know it does not tell you much, but try contacting GS and see if they can help you. Chances are they will tell you that it is handled by PS.
