Hey all - has anyone had any experience with the Audit Trail for Genesys product offered by a company called 'Eemaan?'. I saw an old thread for it and am curious to know a little more about it. Anyone have any ideas on cost and whether it's actually worth it? I would stick to just using Config logs but I have a customer with little SDK/Access experience who wants an out of the box app for CME auditing.
Cheers!

Havent been able to log on this site for a while but I'm back! :-)
Its seems my reply is a wee too late however, I hope it will provide a direction for any other auditing searchers out there , so yes Zack31, we do have first-hand experience of this application as it has been deployed at our company for a while now.
Being part of the back-office support I will have to state that this has proved vital to our Genesys operations.

Hi,
I have seen a demo of Audit Trail and it looks very good. However, I think you need to license the Genesys PSDK for it to work @ £50K or so. A long time a go I wrote something similar myself: http://genesysguru.com/blog/blog/2010/02/19/who-changed-that-cme-object/

I'll have a webcall with them this week. What would you like to know exactly?

Just querying the log DB is enough . A simple SQL query would give you - updated object ,current value of it if applicable and person who made the change .It would not give you the previous value of the object . you can put this in a small program that runs the query every day at a selected time and send the result in a excel or something to selected group . For most customers you would not require more than that in terms of audit trail .
