Title: Two IVR applications one after another breaks the voice flow
Post by: vma on October 22, 2010, 04:17:28 PM
This is getting annoying. Iīm looking for some time tru logs and canīt get anything :(
As it didnīt worked with my main strategy I got to a test strategy that doesnīt do anything else than calling 2 times an IVR application that says "Welcome to genesys. Good bye!". If I call this app only once everything is ok, If I call it twice that I have no voice packets flow. I cannot hear anything between agent and customer.
I'm having an Avaya PBX ans SIP 7.6.
Is there any options that I'm missing?

Thanks,
Mihai

I don't understand your question and less your problem. Which is the callflow? Where does SIP Server gets in? How does Avaya interacts with SIP Server?
LOGS???? CONNID???

Just a hint:

"Welcome to genesys. Good bye!" is typical sample of MCP v8.x.
You should use SIP Server 8.0.3 and not 7.6 with GVP 8.x.

Thanks

OK my bad :) SIP is 8.0.3
And the URS log when I have 2 apps is attached here

Hi vma,

If your system is configured to map all UserData to SIP INVITE message then you must delete the 'GVP-Session-ID' key before calling the voice application for second time.

Well in fact I made an improvement but stil not good enough.
The trick with deleting 'GVP-Session-ID'  didnīt do anything but I set ·oosp-transfer-enabled· on true on the SIP trunks from and to Avaya SES server and now if an agent is ready everything is ok.
If no one is ready then I play music in queue but canīt hear it and the call is disconected. It seems when it should connect to stream manager I get disconected.
Everything works great if I have only one IVR application.

I made it. I don't know if this is really the best way to do it but for the moment it works.
on all voip DNs I put "reuse-sdp-on-reinvite" as true and now it works :P
I still miss the ringback tone but at least I get treatments like mohold.

Thanks!
