Could somebody confirm that to use Outbound with Avaya G3 we need to buy predictivedialing option from Avaya?

I don't think so. But check your PBX has Call Classification Card. If so you can do predictivedialing. Also check with your Switch person to see weather you have Answer Supervision.
I developed a software using Genesys ActiveX, which makes predictive calls. We are using Avaya G3. We didn't buy anything extra...

You have two choices. You can either have the Call Classification card in the G3, or you can use Dialogic boards with the Genesys CPD server. Both do the same thing.

We have a G3 and are primarily an Outbound Shop and we do not use Dialogic boards on the PABX. Gensys SDialer is the server that dials outbound calls, interprets data from the PABX or Dialogic to determine call results, and routes successful and unsuccessful calls to Campaign Manager for further processing. To classify calls either successful or unsuccessful, SDialer uses the voice one recognition capabilities of either the switch, or of hardware extensions to the switch, called virtual boards.
Genesys SDialer is used as our dialer for the Outbound Solution – and it kicks ass!
You need nothing from Avaya.

This question to Calum Do you know how to use SDialer with out Campaign Manager to make outbound calls?. I have seen somewhere, that is, we can use Sdialer only to make outboud calls.

Before I can answer, why would you engineer a system without Campaign Manager?
