Hi All,
We are planning to go for Genesys-Siebel CRM Integration and currently we are going through the Genesys Gplus docs. Gplus 7.5.x and Siebel 8.1
Can any one please let us know like Do we need to go through any other docs or sources and also the key point /area(in terms of configuration n all) that needs to be taken care during the setup.
Any sort of information regarding the issues faced n resolution during the setup .

Thnx cavagnaro. We are currently trying to setup the voice service not multimedia.
So i need to install the voice component and do i need to install the Configuration Synchronization Component also?

Hi,
Configuration Synchronization Component is not required for Voice-only deployment. You should install Gplus Communication Server and Gplus Voice for Siebel CRM only.

Hw abt the setup on the Sibel side ? I hv gone through the deployment guide but got confused as m nt confident on siebel side. So please let me know what all changes i have to do on the Siebel host?

Hi,
You should be more specific about what caused your confusion. It isn't possible to write you here all required steps. Look at Gplus Deployment Guide to chapters [i]Updating the Siebel Repository File[/i] and [i]Configuring the Siebel Call Center Application[/i] for step-by-step installation instructions. I would recommend you to ask Siebel experienced person to help you with Gplus deployment as 90 % of work must be done on Siebel side.
