Title: Abnormal termination of SIP Server application

Hi All,

The SIP server application got stopped and while looking at the logs we saw the multiple occurrence of the below error  :

19:00:48.459 Std 02024 OS signal '0xC0000005' received
...exception in block [main]

----FAULT----01/12/11@19:00:48.4590----
Exception: 5 (0xc0000005) ACCESS_VIOLATION
AddrPC:    7d621079
AddrFrame: 016ccab4
AddrStack: 016cc9e4

This seems to memory leakage issue but not sure .

Can anyone please help me if you have encountered this type of error ?

which version? have you checked the relevant Release Notes?

WIndows ? Did u have any anti-virus software instaled on it host?

Fra, I have verified the release notes and the application version is 7.6.001.17 .

Timur,We do have the McAfee Anti-virus installed on this host .

sunbabu15, such behavior can be a result of multiple factors. e.g. we got the same one because of special sequence tlib requests in customized desktop application. in our case this bug was documented in 7.6 and solved in version 8. i would recommend to you to put SR in support for such complex case.

Thnx smile. Finally i have created a SR with Genesys support team for this.

do next
1) remove mcafee from you sip server.
2) forget about any antivirus software on sip host
2) be happy

it's my own expirens and it can be different with official genesys recomendation.
