Title: Configure alarm to a new app?

How to set up alarm configuration for a new app that was set up in CME
like when in SCI, if the app goes down we should get an alarm

No its a genesys application
I have installed instance of ivr in cme as well as in the host
i was trying to find out, how to configure alarm when something goes wrong
we usually get alarms when an app looses connection or host in inaccessible

You would ordinarily use SCI - or do you have Genesys Administrator?

we have sci
but when i stopped that app that i built in CME from SCI
i didn't see any alarm generated

You need to configure an alarm and then a reaction, check SCI help files

Yes. Also for email you need to configure SCI to connect to a SMTP server, please review documentation, it is well explained there

Don't forget to configure a connection to MessageServer if you want to have log events wtitten to SC/LogDB
