Title: T Server Hot SB - working
Post by: SisB on February 02, 2011, 12:55:01 AM
Hello -

Can anyone please give me a brief insight into how hot standby for t server/Avaya works in following case?

A. Primary is up and running and handling calls actively.
B. Backup (which is in hot standby configuration and is operating in backup mode), is stopped and started.

will the back up be completely synced with primary (with all the calls in it's memory) upon restart?
or
The backup starts building up the memory with the new events it receives from switch/primary after restart and done with registering the objects?

Thanks in advance for any help.

ah.
The backup will synch with the primary in regards to the active DNs status, all related ConnIDs and UserData as soon as it has completed its initialization.
