Title: Alarm History in SCI
Post by: Vic on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Hello, all, how are you?

I wanted somebody to check for me if they could confirm that alarm history is in fact not being written or shown in SCI.
I have several active alarms shown on the screen, but none of them show up in alarm history section.

Can someone please tell me if I am missing some important option, or is it a bug?I can see trace log and standard log but no alarm log.

SCI version I am using is 6.1.000.12.

Thanks,
Vic

Hello Vic,

I use exactly the same version of SCI as you are and I can see all these history information (alarm, trace and standard).

Hmm What to do? First of all you should run a Management Layer Troubleshooter Wizard and check that you have the right configuration.

You find that Wizard in SCI's toolbar, the second tool at right hand side (Run a Wizard).

Good luck,
Tiina

Hey Vic, found the solution! Add 'network' to the logging options on the Solution Control Server app in CME.

Hey presto...
