Title: Informart and BST clock change
Post by: mark on March 22, 2011, 02:54:41 PM
Afternoon all :)

Quick question on BST clock change!

Our Job_LoadGIM starts at 1.30am, BST change occurs at 1am (for those who are unaware, we lose an hour of time as 1am becomes 2am).

Will the job still start automatically at 2am, or does it need the initial 'load-start-time' time to trigger the start of the job?

Had a look in the documentation but can only see reference to clocks going back rather than forwards, and that is in relation to outbound.

Thanks for any help :D

Mark - to be honest, I don't think it will happen since it will simply skip over 1:30AM - jobs are reliant on the PDC/local OS Clock.  Could you, for one night, change it to 2:30AM and then flip it back again?

See that's what I'm thinking. It might just be easier to do 2 quick changes (one on the day before and one after) rather than dealing with the fall out should it not run!
