Hi All,
Need some assistance in setting up call transfer from GVP 8.x to Agent, following is the environment.
Avaya S8800->Avaya SES -> Genesys SIP Server ->
In Genesys SIP Server we have FromAvaya trunk refering Avaya SES, n GVP Trunk. Call is transferred to GVP from SIP Server. Call is establishing on Trunk as GVP Centric.
We are running TSAPI TServer and our agents loggedin to TSAPI TServer which is a remote site for GVP.
We are trying following mechanism to transfer calls frome GVP to Agent.
GVP VoiceXML use refer request to SIP Server RP.
Strategy is loaded at SIPServer RP which used TRoute Call function to route the call to remote TSAPI TServer.
I am facing problem that call isn't transferring to remote site.
I have setup ISCC between SIPServer and TSAPI TServer i-e Connection of SIPServer in TSAPI TServer and vice versa.
Target ISCC on both SIP and TServer Switch with routetype as route.
ERP has also been defined at TSAPI TServer.
Outbound Trunk for Transfer has configured in SIP Switch same name as ERP.
Please share your feedback if anyone has any idea of CTI Through SIP implementation in GVP 8.x.
Regards
Ali

Hi N.Ali,
It's hard to type what could be wrong... Could you post SIP Server and TServer for Avaya TSAPI logs here?
R.

Hello all,
Any news concerning this integration?
I face a similary case with:
- Avaya CM 5.2 connect thrue Tserver TSAPI where agent phones are registered in H323,
- A new Session Manager 6.3 to connect GVP 8.1 and OCS (VAD via Media Server) in SIP,
Does this kind of integration has already be done and work?
Thanks in advance for your help,
BR

Should as long as your Session Manager and SIP Server are correctly configured.
The fact that agents are in H323 is not important for GVP as it talks SIP and it is your platform who should do the correct conversion.
Correct integration between TServers will assure the CTI data to go fine too but won't affect voice.
No cookbook for this
