Post by: Charly_uk on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM

Good Morning from the UK.

We have a Meridian Switch with Symposium Link. Following rhe documentation its not possible
to toggle between two calls. However one department urgent need (want) this. So we are thinking if it will
be possible using both DNs on a telset with LineObjects. Anybody tried that or a have a different ides

Thanks

Charly

Hi Vic,

with toggle, they mean "alternate" a call, We find out, thas it is possible if you using both DNs of a Telset, but then you can not merge the calls

Charly,

I was under the impression that using telset to toggle (alternate lines) would simply be equivalent of placing the first call on hold and initiating a second call.... How would TServer differntiate between a normal call placed while the original is on hold and a toggled call?
Is your "thisDN" the same for the toggled call?

Another interpretation of this .... Do you mean that you want to put a DN call on hold whilst answering an ACD call routed to the incall key (Position ID)? This is assuming that you are not using Genesys to route the call but still using CCR. If you are using Genesys to route then the telset effectively only has one DN (as the incall key or position ID is inaccessible from Genesys).
