Title: SIP Routing issue
Post by: Tambo on August 24, 2011, 01:09:36 PM
Hi Guys,

I have an issue where URS routes a call to a SIP agent, the call rings for the person dialling but doesn't ring for the agent, doesn't show as ringing on the Place either in CCPulse. The call will ring indefinately until the caller hangs up. The call shows as cleared on the VQ.

In the URS logs at the start of the call it shows the DN that it is going to deliver to and this DN is OK, but later in the logs it shows the DN as 'Invalid Destination DN' and causes an EventError.

In the SIP server we have agent-no-answer etc, ext-no-answer etc and pos-no-answer etc set but as the call isn't actually hitting any of these the call isn't moving on to the next target as this call type is supposed to bounce if not answered.

Anyone had anything like this before ?!?

cheers

there was no error trapping in the strategy so the call didn't get told what to do.........simples

If it is so simple why you ask for help? We are not mind readers or magic balls owners you know...

looking for it to be other things and didn't check the simple things, never occurred to me that it would be the error handling  :o
