Hi,
I am trying to call a gvp(7.6 version) application from a strategy. I got no results, does someone can clarify if this is posible for the pointed version gvp7.6.
I review genesys docs, but without luck.... what i am missing?
Escenario:
A call need to be transfered to a RP. If there are no agents a ringback needs to be applied.
Need help please.

What to yo mean by "without luck"? Calls are being dropped? Call are being rejected by GVP?

When i said without luck i mean i follow all the steps explained in a genesys tutorial but i doesn´t work. The point is that tutorial explains the issue for GVP72, we have 76.
Have you implemented this stuff for gvp76? is it possible?

I'll need some details in order to be able to help you with it. For example, I'll need to know what PBX/Switch and TServer are you using, this functionality depends on your TServer. Also will need to see some logs to look for errors and know what are the symptoms you're experiencing

Please refer to you TServer deployment guide. I took a quick look at such document for both Nortel CS 1000 and Nortel CS 2000 and it seems like such treatment is not supported (TApplyTreatment - TreatmentPlayApplication). Therefore I'd suggest to apply such treatment from the Switch itself.

Thanks for your help. What you said is what i believe all the time while working in this issue. However, TS-Genesys said the treatments are valid for 7.6 version. Sooo as you see we are looking the truth hahaha.
In other hand, we need to implement this by gvp cause pbx is not able to provide ringback tone. Pbx team report this as a pbx issue, so we are looking to implement treatments as a way to fix this issue.

Are you using SIP trunks in Nortel CS? Or TDM?

We have both ...
GVP is Sip based.

Please put even though screenshot of you strategy. what king of block are you using for call transfer to GVP?

IF GVP is SIP-based, do you have Genesys SIP Server? if so, I believe you should also have SM and therefore you could use SM to provide that treatment.

Use the IVR Treatment block in the strategy to send the call back to the GVP and use the Script ID parameter to send it to GVP.
