HI
Is there any way to get the datasourcer version using commands. I do not have access to the path where software has installed. I would like to know the exact version of the datasourcer component running on AIX UNIX. I did check logs, but i did not see any the version of datasourcer component logged. Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks - JJR

Hi JJR,
you can try to check the startserver.bat of the Datasourcer, usually inside it you can see the version of the datasourcer:
start > cmd > datasourcer installed dir > vi startserver.bat
Please let me know if worked. ;D
Cheers,

Hi JJR,
There should be ip_description.xml file in DataSourcer's installation directory that contains all information you're after.

You can retrieve that value from the Config DB, but it might not be accurate.
You should ask your system admin to collect the read_me.html file from DS installation directory.

Restart it and look in the log for 'DataSourcer, Version:'
