Title: GPlus adapter for Siebel 7 (with Nortel Symposium)
Post by: Adrian on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Hi,
Did anybody implemented GPlus adapter for Siebel 7, with Nortel Meridian/Symposium? Since in the Meridian switch, each agent has 2 DNs, I was wondering how will these 2 DNs be registered (from a Siebel perspective). The goal is to receive incoming calls on the key 00 DN and place outgoing calls using the key 04 DN.
Thank you.

If you look at the Siebel 7 Communications administration documentation you will have all the information needed. For each agent you will have to configure 2 Extensions; 1 with the Extension number and the other with the Position number. They will need to have the right attribute set, I can't remember off the top of my head but I know it's in the Siebel documentation.
If you had a chance to work with Siebel 99 or 2000 and Genesys, the way the GPlus adapter for Siebel7 is configured is the same as for the OLE/COM toolbar.
Hope this helps.
