Hi

I had the same issue so just ran the apps from a virtual XP machine running on Win7 instead.

Version 8 of the applications is Win 7 compatible.
For reporting (Data Modeling assistant), I believe there is a 7.6 version compatible, but I would refer you to release notes to confirm.

Hi Kevin

I've just tried to install v8.0.200.03 of CME on my Win7 machine and it's failed.

I checked the release notes and they say support is up to Vista.

Although as an alternative you could just run the web based Administrator to get around that issue.

I think it's the 8.1 clients onwards that are Win7 compatible.

When I set up a Windows 7 client machine on our model, I simply copied the Config Manager directory from an XP machine. It would probably work with other clients too.

Steven -
I stand corrected. I think I was focusing on CC Pulse, as we have been trying to find a 8.0 version of it we're happy with.

Of course, check release notes or any other published compatibility guide for clarification.
