Title: How to upgrade DAP 7.5 to 8.0?
Post by: longcao on May 28, 2012, 01:19:56 PM
Hi, Guys,

I was trying to migrate Genesys 7.5 to 8.0, and finished configuration layer upgrade.
now, I need to upgrade DAP 7.5 to 8.0.
But, when I tried to upgrade it using wizard upgrade in context menu, there is always a message popped up:

The database Acccess point has been successfully verified against requirements for version 7.5
what doest it mean?

or I have to mannually upgrade them? but there are a lot of dependencies, which will cause some issue.

thanks in advance.

?? DAP are only logical entities...no need to upgrade. What you have to upgrade are DBServers.

Thx, I know it's just some db related configuration.
But ,I upgraeded them successfully in another different system after the  msg box "The database Acccess point has been successfully verified against requirements for version 7.5" popped up.
version info was updated.
weird.

Well maybe that DAP version is OK with the app, if it was 7.2 for example or less it may ask for an upgrade to support new options and DBs
