Title: Nuance license not working

Hi, Guys,

My Nuance license is not working, I checked log,  there is error msg:  License server manager (lmgrd) startup failed; File not found, swilmgard.exe.


The following is the error msg from log:


(lmgrd) License file(s): E:\Nuance|Licence.lic
(lmgrd) lmgrd tcp-port 27000
(lmgrd) Starting vendor daemons ...
(lmgrd) License server manager (lmgrd) startup failed;
(lmgrd) File not found, swilmgrd.exe.

In LMTOOLS, I specified lrmgrd.exe, why system tried to run swilmgrd.exe?

For genesys license service and Nuance license service, there are different installation packages?
For genesys,genesys.d is used, for nuance, swilmgrd.exe is used?

Does anyone know where to download nuance license manager installation package?

when you install nuance you should select its licensing option too, I think it has another name not FlexLM or like.
Maybe it is there already, searched on the HD for that file?

This answer is correct, to have a working license manager for Nuance you will need to have  the "normal" FlexLM tools + the Nuance specific daemon.
swilmgrd => SpeechWorks LincenxeManager Daemon

FlexLM tries to involve this daemon because i is included in the license file...

You need to download it at the network.nuance.com website or check the Genesys site / ask Genesys for the software (Nuance License Manager)
