Title: WE ARE BACK!

Dear all,

we are back!!! 8)

The forces beyond our control have decided that our server needs to be upgraded to Windows, while we were running CentOS, and then technical support people would refuse to acknowledge that we in fact were never renting a Windows server and tried to prove to me that all this time we were running SMF on Windows that I need to upgrade.

The sad thing is that this is not our hosting company's fault - they were just awesome. It just for some insane reason, some DNS servers decided that we were hosted by ... GoDaddy and GoDaddy would link us with some other company with a rather similar name. In Hungary.  :-\

It was very refreshing to hear so many of you offer help in recovering the site and only has reaffirmed our commitment to this wonderful site.

lol can that happen??? I'd write to GoDaddy and tell them go fuck your mommy godaddy...always in friendly mode ;)

Yes,

we do have weekly backups but the fun part is that we did not have a server to recover backup to.
