Title: Genesys Cloud - anyone using it yet?
Post by: victor on November 21, 2012, 03:22:05 AM
Ok,

so, can someone please explain to me more about Genesys Cloud? Is anyone using it yet?

Looks like it is destined to call EchoPass, plus unless pricing is wrong, it should be the perfect solution for anyone out there. Thoughts?

Here we were trying to make it fit on a carrier but not even Genesys had a clear idea on what to do with the product and how to make it work...
They asked for HUGE data center and was not an viable option...also some missing features or no idea how to make it made the deal hard to move

Same image here as well.  Great idea and they are already pitching it to several clients, but I am unsure of the execution potential.

There are two different things related to cloud approach in Genesys
- HPE - which was solution design for providers to build their own cloud
- Genesys Cloud - new thing where Genesys will be providing platform in the cloud - I think it is possible to request demo of that through Genesys page http://www.genesyslab.com/cloudconnect/index.aspx?ht=cloud%20cloud

and since we are talking here about new things there is also new Genesys One which is simplified 1 box approach for small customers
