Title: Proactive Contact. Avoiding Spam Mail Detection
Post by: ivanff on November 23, 2012, 10:59:24 AM
Hi,

Our customer is interested in a proactive contact solution for mail delivering, but he wants to know if there is any Genesys mechanism that can be configured in order to avoid spam/junk mail detection in mail servers. I've been searching in Genesys docs but I've found no reference at all. Does anyone have any knowledge or experiece to share regarding this issue?  :)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Ivan,

if such technology would exist then spam/junk filters will be useless... You can increase delivery rate by respecting general rules for 'good' emails and restrict practises detected by spam/junk filters. However, nobody can guarantee you success as spam/junk filters are configured by recipients and not your customer.

R.

PS. If there exists a person who knows how to avoid spam/junk filters then he is probably sailing somewhere in Caribbean enjoying earned millions on spam :D

Lol, thank you very much Rene :)

I guess that the only thing that could be done are creating manual Screening Rules before sending the interaction...
