Hello All,
I am interested in knowing what the preferred choice is to perform call progress detection (cpd) in outbound contact operations.
Genesys outbound courses cover its own cpd, the media server, in addition to dialogic HMP.
It would be worthwhile knowing if region has any influence, or cost, or even size of operation.

Sangoma has by far been able to solve a very specific issue that Dialogic/Genesys couldn't solve and Sangoma did it by default, very nice solution even if Genesys is very resistant to make it work with their platform.

we use Genesys Media Server :) anyone have a guide config CPD media server :(

Actually there is internal document which can be requested from Genesys about configuring Genesys CPD. Please ask Your integrator to receive such document :)

There are also fine tuning information in the reference guide of GVP 8.1.4 (not in the 8.1.5 reference guide)

We have been using CPD server with OCS 8 and have had nothing but issues since implementation. Currently testing GVP to see if they are any different from each other.

bublepaw, do you know the name of the document? i'll try to look for it in solution db or xchange...

So far no answer from Genesys guys...they told me read this and this...and I told them: I ALREADY DID...
And now they won't answer anything hehe
