Title: CCPulse file locations new implementation
Post by: Superglide on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
We are in the midst installing a 6.5 solution and need some experianced advice with where to locate the 4 x CCPulse configuration files (actions.stg, templates.stg, thresholds.stg, workspaces.stg). We have 60 Team Leaders who will run CCPulse and obviously want to customise each of their workspaces to some degree and have a team that will develop new real ime reports etc as we go forward.

The problem is this: How do I set up the 4 x files (local user profiles and/or a common directory on the LAN) so that the above requirements can be met ie Team Leaders can personalise their views but not impact others, while the central team can create/modify new templates etc and still give everyone else access to these.

Well my advice to address this kind of requirements is to have all your *.stg files except the workspace.stg on a network drive and have the workspace.stg on the local hard drive.
