Title: Temporarily Disabling Alarms
Post by: PFCCWA on March 07, 2013, 03:52:50 PM
Hello,

We have been asked if it is possible to disabled alarms (email alerts) during changes such as upgrades/maintenance.
Is there a fixed setting for this?
Dont want to stop scs as we cant start stop applications using GA/SCI.

I thought to remove the mailer section details in scs would do the trick.

Thanks.

Not 100% sure as this is changes are not dynamic...SCS reads them once when starts. If you do a change SCS won't notice it until you restart, so the same would apply if you delete the section

Go to Environment-->Alarm Condition --> disable the Alarms :)

Now you are free :) stop ans start with application, no new alarm will generate :)
