Somebody can help me to get a PBX simulator. The one I have
is crashing every 15 minutes on Windows 2000.
Thanks

I have news for you they ALL do. Mine is crashing from time to time for no apparent reason.
By the way, anyone knows how to create an abandoned inbound call for a queue?

Vic,
do you mean automatically creating an entry in an outbound list if an inbound call abandons? if so then read on........
write an application which uses the genesys toolkit to register for the queues you wish to monitor, from this application simply insert records into the calling list.

Hi, Mark, thank you for your response.
Actually, it is much simpler than that:
I am using PBX simulator and have an inbound call go to 2201 from where it is defaulted to 8001.
I now want to hang up that call.
Obviously, with PBXV (Simulator GUI) Release button does not work, and the only way I can think of dropping the call is pressing "release all calls" button. The problem is that if I do that, I do not get "EventAbandoned" generated for the queue, and even though the call is dropped CCP still continues to show the call as WAITING.
So, I was wondering how I can hangup an inbound call.
Any thoughts?

Vic,
Tricky one that! I don't think you can through the simulator, however you might be able to write your own app which you use to send in the call....could you even use your out desktop application.....I know if I call 2006 before an external number (instead of 9) I go direct to the outside world that way the switch/genesys do not realise I'm actually phoning from within the system....
...might be worth trying?

Simulator has a parameter q <timeticks>. When time is over and no agent gets free, the call is abandoned.
