Hi, does anybody have an information about "media error" codes in IWS application?
My users reporting errors and it looks like "media error (58)" or "media error (%digits_here%)". Sometimes there is also a message near this error, but most of errors are just with digit codes. How to figure out with this codes?

Tried to speak with google on Genesys forum and the only thing I found was TServer error codes (there were not so much codes + there were no codes I've experienced).

Check TServer logs as well.

This is what I found http://docs.genesyslab.com/Documentation/TS/8.0.0/TSCSTA/CSTAErrorMessages
But it's not what I'm looking for or contains incomplete information :-\

Well as said, you need to check TServer logs, the message is that, an indication of something going wrong, if you expect a log to say: Hey! User 1000 just unplugged his computer! Go check him! or "Hey network link is slow as hell, the cause is the change you did last night on the switch named swt001001 with IP address x.x.x.x. Revert to this config"....then you are living on a dream world. Each event can have many possible causes and you as trained engineer for support should be able to trace that error and analyze your platform and environment.

As Cav said...check logs, check logs and again check logs :-)

Hi Dimm,
Did your user log in an IP phone before ?
-
Yup - these errors call come from T-Server events so that is the first place to check.
