Anyone going to the GForce conference in October?
-
I will be attending GForce this October, but I've never been to one before. I have no previous experiences to share.
I have been in my currect CGE position for six months now, with previous experience based in Nortel PBX and UNIX administration. My CGE course at Genesys last May was very helpful, but only as a basis. Most experience has been handson training.
We are running TServer 5.1 on Solaris, with an M1 Option 81C (MLink5C/CCR3C). Other options we're using include IR/SBR, (Strat Bldr/Loader), CCon, StatServ, DART, CCpulse, and Iserv for Periphonics.

I'm planning to but not 100% sure right now. Had someone go last year and he thought it was a waste of money.
It was when we first purchased Genesys and I was off at CGE school, he came from the management track and said that it was more of a dog and pony show then a good place to get information.
I was hoping it would be different from a technical view.
I have gone to the Periphonics users meetings and have always picked up some good info, but you don't have to drop $1000 to attend those.
Anyone attend a GForce? What did you think?

I went to the last one in Amsterdam. I made some good contacts with other users and I find that the best way to discuss and overcome problems.
Hopefully there will be some breakout discussion sessions for users, if not, we could do one ourselves for people using this forum.
