Using G6.5 on a Nortel M1 with GVP and VTO.
If queue time is > 30 second we want to give a "please wait" message. This message shall be repeated every 30 seconds as long as the caller stay in a queue. We also give music. So the flow is pretty common: music… please wait… music… please wait > target (agent).
Currently we use VTO to handle the "please wait" announcements with VTO. How do you do it? Does anybody use MIRAN to do it?

To my understanding, you can give two types of treatment in Genesys for Nortel IVR and Music. Since VTO is essentially an IVR, it qualifies.
Because of this, it is my understanding that you cannot use MIRAN. However, you can get quite creative in VTO with a little imagination. For example, we converted portions of our hold music into VOX files, and play them in the VTO scripts. I understand that, if your recordings are in VOX format and you use the RETURN action, you can return to the place in the file that you left (which, for hold music, means that you don't have to play the first part of the same file(s) over and over and over.

MLink or Symposium do not support MIRAN command, right? At least they did not support it when I looked at it.
