Hi guys,
I have a customer requirement as part of standardized documentation. They need an official Genesys doc explaining how to install each component. I'm OK with all except FlexLM...can't find a guide which tells how to do on Linux or Windows...All I have is on Management and Licensing guides some references to some configurations but not exactly how to do it so...never took attention to that part actually. Anyone knows a doc that indicates such configuration?
Thanks

And make the doc by yourself? I think that instalation process of FlexLM is very easy and the description will not be extensive

I have it done ;) come on lol
They want something that says is the Genesys procedure to do so...ISOs and stuff like that...pain in the ass.

FlexLM is not a Genesys product, so it is up to you to tell customer the reason for creating own documention instead Genesys.

I know it is not Genesys but even 3rd party products used by a provider must be documented according to their specifications. Genesys uses/provide it so therefore should provide docs.
I'm not going to discuss the "why" reasons nor the "why not"...not the point. Sometimes we need to adjust to customer needs. We provide a solution not a module.

I understand you, but as you know, not all customer needs are logically and have real reason and it is up to "experts" to describe the real state. But you are right that this topic is not the right place for similiar discuss. Did you try check MGMT CD? On this CD the doc should be .

Nice! Found it there! Thanks!
