Post by: Gandalf on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I read that the Symposium Link isn't half as feature rich as the Meridian Link.

What fatures are are meant?

Most of the limitations are grouped around transfer and forward. The most critical is, that if an agent logs in via phoneset Genesys does not see the data provided during login.

Full information on supported functionality is mentioned in the manuals.

Meridian Link is now MLSM within Symposium. It is fully functional as MLink 5c. Genesys fully supports this link with the main issue still being Nortel not allowing routing directly to Key 0 ( PID ) via the link. Event structure is relatively the same.

I cannot confirm this. We are using 9 M1 (81C) in a multisite environment with latest Symposium link and it has got severe limitations with regard to the TServer.
