Title: Network traffic
Post by: Andy Bender on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
I am trying to get an estimate on the amount of network traffic which occurs through Genesys.

What is the size (byte count) of the TEvent messages, EventRinging, EventHeld, EventDialing, etc. such as from the TServer?

Are they all approximately the same? or do they vary a lot?

How big (byte count) would a message be to the TServer be on a TAttachUserData() function call be (excluding the UUI data, as it would vary) ?

Thanks

I recall seeing something at support.genesyslab.com a white paper dealing with traffic analysis. Do you have an access to it?

Clyde,
Unfortunately, I do not have access to the white paper. Could you possibly send me a copy?

Thanks,

Andy

Check the Framework 6.5 Getting Started Guide (65fr_gs.pdf). This has a section (page 43) titled "Traffic generated by Framework components" that provides what you need.
