Title: Deleting filters from DMA
Post by: Nick on January 01, 1970, 12:00:00 AM
Hi All

Could anyone please advise on how to delete filters from DMA? We have created one which has not been used, or included in any report layout and would like to delete it, but find that we cannot remove it from DMA.

The help suggests that deleting filters in DMA is not supported, so we have removed it from the filters section of the stat server, but this does not remove it from DMA itself. I think that the definition is stored in the ODS but, with the filter now gone from the stat server, do we have to wait for a system restart for it to disappear from DMA as well?

When you want to synchronize DMA and StatServer, the stats and filters defined in DMA will be defined in the statServer section.
SO, deleting the filters in StatServer will not be useful if the filter is still defined in DMA.
You need to erase the filter from the ODS database.
