Title: Creating a Schedule Script
Post by: pich on November 24, 2014, 11:38:41 AM
Hello,
I am trying to create Outbound Schedule. But when I am done with all the outbound schedule properties, I need to create a Schedule Script, which I cant do (cant click on New).
Anyone else have this problems and does anyone know how to fix the problem? or maybe I don't have the authorization to do that maybe?

I guess that should be caused by insufficient permissions

just talk to IT Support, and according to them I have a admin account with full authorization.

Have anyone else needed to create a Scheduled Script while creating a Outbound Scheduled and been successful?

We are using outbound schedules on daily basis and have not encountered any issue. Check your framework version and if you are able to share screenshot, it would be great.

When I click on OK, this image pops-up http://imgur.com/EDEwcaD and the folder Erik is empty and I cant click on either OK or New.
So I cant save the scheduled :(

Are you sure that your permissions are sufficient? According to the issue description it seems like that and all pointed out at this as a root cause. You can check it, if you will try to open "Desktop -> Scripts" within GA, you will see if you be able to create a new object. If no, the permission are unsufficient.

Think so aswell.

On main tab select "Provisioning", within tree nodes on left side select "Desktop". If you have not got this option within left side, it points out at the role configuration and may be the permissions.

If not wrong you need a role. Being admin doesn't mean you can do everything. As admin you need to configure your access to products too. No magic does that

I have tried to go nder Accoutnts --> User and then the account I use. But how do I add stuff?
Or maybe I cant do that by myself ;)

Check your role configuration, if there are enabled the "Desktop" section and following suboptions like scripts, etc. As administrator you could have full control permission on entire "Resources".
