Hi All,
Can someone help me understand the options provided in the IW-8.5.1-Workspace Desktop Edition Deployment Guide.pdf on page 449 under Not Ready Reason Codes section?
- Workmode
- Extensions
- Reason-extension-key
- Reason-extension-request-attribute
- Reason-extension-value
Also under what circumstances I will use Extensions and when Reasons.
Since I am fairly new to the iWS customization/configuration any help is much appreciated.

Hi,
As I said I am fairly new to iWS, I am not at all sure what I will use these options for. All that I was aware was create the Not Ready reasons of type Not Ready and you are done but after going through these options I am confused now as why and when I will use these.
But one specific thought that struck me was, how will these help if I was using a SIP based software PBX or a hardware based PBX like Avaya. Under that scenario how will I use these options.
Any help is much appreciated.
