Hello,
I think this should be a lot more simple than I am thinking.
Can we define a timeprofile for a statistic in ccpulse which covers a specific time period?
For example I want to create a threshold that generates alert if statistic exceeds configured value in time period (greater than 100 between midnight and 8 AM).
I thought it was just a case of creating timeprofile with value=8:00, linking to statistic as growing then applying >100 threshold. However this resets at 8 AM, then begins count again, whereas I want it to stop counting at this point until midnight.

Yes, this is possible using TimeProfile and TimeRange in your Template:
TimeProfile = Specifies the time intervals that are referenced for calculating statistics.
TimeRange = Specifies the initiating ("Start") time range used for collecting data.
TimeRange1 = Specifies the second ("End") time range used for collecting data.
