Title: Outbound Caller ID separation
Post by: sigalsv on June 01, 2015, 08:37:32 AM
Hello,
We are trying to define different Caller IDs for different outbound campaigns.
According to OCS documentation, we defined CPNDigits value for an existing campaign.
In the T-Server log we see the right value in the CPNDigits key, but the Avaya switch does not see it, and we recieve the old caller ID in the call.
We use T-server 8.1, and OCServer 8.1
Avaya CM6.2

What do we do wrong?

Thanks,
Sigal.

If you are using non-VoIP T-Server, the best way is configure it on PBX site. In other case, the CPN option is used on trunk object within CME/GA.

The easiest way for us is to add dial out codes, which would place the call via specified trunk, thus enabling us to control our CID.

So, just use a CPN option and make sure it is mentioned in your trunk definition in CME.
